Job Title: Structural EngineerJob Description Consulting engineering firm looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to be a subject matter expert and help the structural group execute on a significant backlog of municipal consulting services contracts. This group will work closely with the civil engineering group on projects such as pump station sites, water and wastewater process facilities, site improvement retaining walls, and water reservoirs. Hard Skills + Lead municipal and industrial structural engineering assignments + Lead a group of 2-3 other structural engineers + Identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative structural systems/solutions + Lead structural assignments from system selection and concept development through design and construction + Provide system designs using concrete, masonry, steel, and wood systems + Provide structural plan reviews + Determine feasibility of designing new structures or modifying existing structures + Analyze existing structures and systems with respect to code compliance and seismic requirements + Analyze project conditions and performance requirements + Be involved in pursuit of structural engineering lead projects + Analyze engineering proposals, requirements, and related technical data + Compile and analyze operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards Job Type This is a permanent position. Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Seattle, Washington and some days remote.
