Job Title: Structural Engineer Job Description Structural Engineer opening with one of our major utility clients- supporting Capital improvement projects within Transmission Design. This position will be working closely with Physical design for added features and substation enhancements, adding support within the structure to support efficiencies within power delivery. Hard Skills + Experience with structural design + Analyzing steel connections + Experience with MathCAD and STAAD PRO + Working knowledge of ANSYS + Experience with AISC, ASCE, and ACI codes + Engineering degree required- Civil Engineering or Structural preferred + PE level operation considered Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Birmingham, Alabama and some days remote. Work Environment Will be in a hybrid setting where the Civil/Structural group works in-office 6-8 days out of the month. Will be working closely with other team members supporting these projects.
