We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Resilience Water Structural Team in Tampa, Florida!

Collaborating with our experienced professionals, you will support and drive the development of projects, interact, and work with clients, and develop your technical capabilities.

Role accountabilities:
As a Structural Engineer you will work on water/ wastewater structural engineering design and construction projects; including production of design calculations, technical reports, permitting, detailed design and engineering plans and specifications for water/wastewater projects including plant upgrades, storage facilities, pipelines, storm water systems, pump stations, and distribution / collection systems.
Responsibilities include:
Organize and conduct structural related engineering investigations, calculations, and planning work which has a well-defined scope. Research feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions and regulatory agency specifications. Develop calculations, plans, specifications, requests for proposals, and other contract documents. Work directly with a variety of engineering disciplines, office / project staff, client and sub-contractors, throughout the project life cycle, and therefore should have clear and concise, oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports. Exercise own judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. Produce engineering and construction drawings, specifications, bid packages, and cost estimates for projects. Some travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, general planning purposes or to oversee construction activities, depending on project staffing needs.Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications
3 years relevant structural experience. Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. EIT certification.Key Skills & Attributes:
Strong structural analysis/design skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and team-oriented, with the ability to work successfully both independently and within a team. Ability to work productively and cooperatively in a team environment. Flexible attitude towards assignments, with ability to take on new projects, and an eagerness to take ownership of tasks and challenges regularly. Familiarity/experience utilizing MathCAD, STAAD, AutoCAD, Revit, and other structural software.Preferred Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of or experience in Mathcad, AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD. Experience with water/ wastewater facilities and/or heavy industrial structural analysis and design a plus.Why Arcadis?

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $70,800-$100,000/year. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
