A Structural Engineering firm in the western suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Structural EIT to their growing team! Job Description: + Perform structural engineering tasks on building projects using materials like concrete, steel, masonry, and wood + Design slabs, floor systems, columns, walls, and foundations + Conduct lateral analysis and design + Coordinate with CAD and BIM departments + Ensure drawings are coordinated with other disciplines (Architects, Mechanical Engineers, etc.) + Respond to RFIs + Review shop drawings + Conduct site observations + Attend and participate in project meetings Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred + 1+ years of experience in structural design and detailing + Proficiency in AutoCAD and design programs such as RAM, TEDDS, RISA, ADAPT, etc. + Familiarity with Revit is a plus About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
