The Structural Engineer contributes to the successful design and delivery of safe and efficient structural steel and concrete projects, primarily within the industrial sector.
Responsibilities
Perform structural steel and concrete design and analysis in accordance with relevant codes and standards (AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC, etc.) Develop and review design drawings and 3D models. Assist in the preparation of technical reports and specifications. Conduct field investigations, including observations of existing conditions and measurements. Potentially lead engineering teams, manage budgets, and interface directly with clients. Participate in professional development activities to enhance technical skills. Adhere to all company safety protocols and ethical guidelines. Collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders. May require occasional overtime and travel.Requirements
Education: M.S.C.E. (Structural) preferred. Experience: 5+ yrs. exp. in steel/concrete design for industrial projects (e.g., gas plants). Licenses: P.E./S.E. preferred.
