Role Description:
Arcadis is seeking experienced Structural Engineers to join our Resilience Water team in the United States. This is a prospecting position, reflecting our commitment to building a talent pipeline to address future challenges in water resilience and sustainability.

Role Accountabilities:
As a Structural Engineer on our Resilience Water team, you will contribute to designing and implementing structural solutions for diverse projects, including treatment facility upgrades, infrastructure resilience, shoreline stabilization, stormwater management, and distribution/collection system designs. Your responsibilities will include:
Researching alternative design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory requirements. Conducting structural investigations and analyses to support project development. Preparing technical calculations, detailed drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative, sustainable designs aligned with industry codes and standards. Managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes. Traveling for client meetings, site visits, and other project-related activities as needed.Key Skills & Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should have strong structural analysis and design skills, including proficiency with STAAD Pro and other structural software. Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is essential, along with an in-depth understanding of building codes and standards such as IBC and ACI. You should also have experience preparing, reviewing, and approving project documents such as drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. Excellent technical writing and editing skills are critical for effective communication and documentation.

Arcadis offers benefits for full-time and part-time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range is $82,400 - $154,500. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
