Dewberry is currently seeking a Structural Engineering Intern with an anticipated start in January 2025 to join our Boston, MA office.

Responsibilities

The intern would be working in our Transportation Group focused on structural (bridge and tunnel) projects. Typical responsibilities include:

Developing and evaluating engineering solutionsPreparing design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawingsPerforming inspections of existing structures Assisting with various studies and documenting resultsAdherence to assigned project schedules and budgetsWriting internal communicationsPerforming other duties as assigned Required Skills & Required Experience Must be currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, emphasis in structural engineering or transportation a plus.Previous internship experience a plus.Experience with AutoCAD preferred; Civil 3D is a plus.Excellent interpersonal skills.
