Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is looking for Structural Foreman to join our team.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural ForemanRead plans and have a working knowledge of standards and specificationsAble to organize, plan and schedule workAbility to communicate with employees, venders, inspectors, owners’ representativesAbility to operate heavy equipment, preferredMust pass pre-employment physical/drug screening

Responsibilities:

Coordinates and supervises daily activities of a 2 – 7-person crewRequest and supervise layout with Project Management TeamResponsible for crew and worksite safety. Establishes safe work environment that complies with the Company safety programObserves assigned equipment to detect machinery malfunctions. Assures the proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of equipmentMonitor production and cost daily. Analyze job cost reports and make changes to ensure budgets are being metReviews and approves employee time reporting and completes all required paperwork in a timely mannerCoordinates and assists the Project Management Team to ensure all materials are onsite prior to being needed, schedule is integrated into the overall project schedule, and MOT needsMust be willing to perform all related tasks to support projectsEnsure the company’s health and safety culture, policies and requirements are metEstablish and maintain a positive working relationship with customer and co-workersKnowledgeable of material and equipment requirementsProvides on-the-job training and suggests other trainings to help grow crew members skills and abilities
