Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II to perform assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting operations for aircraft structures ensuring parts meet specified requirements.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
3 years related structural assembly experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Skilled in close tolerance work and use of special tools and equipment
Proficient in basic shop math and reading scales
Ability to work with composite resins and materials
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam
Q-stamp certification
Job Responsibilities:
Perform assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting of detail parts and structures
Rivet structural members using necessary tools (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills)
Remove fasteners without damaging structures
Read work orders, blueprints, sketches to determine sequence of operations
Maintain logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs)
Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, clamps
Make repairs as per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO)
Support Lean activities
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
