Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II to assemble and fit detail parts and structures, ensuring defect-free assemblies through precise operations and inspections.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform basic shop math Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred Graduates of the Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program may receive one year of experience credit

Responsibilities:

Assemble and fit detail parts and structures, including drilling and riveting tasks Use tools such as portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, drills, countersinks, files for structural assemblies Follow blueprints, work orders, and sketches for operations sequence Inspect work to ensure defect-free assembly before final inspection Maintain accurate logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, pins for precision

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
