Your expertise will directly impact the performance and reliability of cutting-edge aerospace technology. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** + Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, including drilling and riveting operations. + Conduct sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts and equipment on aircraft. + Rivet structural members, assemblies, and parts using various tools. + Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets. + Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations. + Instruct and assist team members in interpreting blueprints and resolving production issues. + Maintain logs and records, and ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection. + Align and assemble parts using jigs, holding fixtures, and fasteners. + Perform repairs and rework to ensure installations meet conformity. + Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supporting the company's 5S & Lean Initiative Program. **Required:** + High School Diploma or GED. + 4 years of related structural assembly experience. + Basic computer and shop math skills. + Ability to read and comprehend documents and instructions. + Skilled in close tolerance work and use of special tools and equipment. + Ability to work any shift and in small spaces or restricted areas. + Must be able to lift 50 lbs. **Preferred:** + Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam. + Q-stamp certification. + Ability to work with composite resins and materials. **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech Commercial, we believe in fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
