What You’ll Be Doing: Perform detailed structural assembly operations, including drilling, riveting, and fitting parts to ensure top-notch quality and adherence to FAA requirements and Company standards. Use a variety of tools like portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, and reamers to assemble sheet metal and structural parts. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to ensure precise operations and proper part assembly. Conduct thorough inspections of your work, ensuring defect-free assemblies before final inspection. Keep detailed logs and records, and enter labor into the system to track work progress. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 1 year of structural assembly experience or 1 year of experience in an Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program (e.g., Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Program) Basic knowledge of aircraft structures, sheet metal, and fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and use a 6” scale Basic computer skills for logging work and using resource planning systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in small spaces, including climbing ladders or stands Must be able to work any shift and adhere to safety procedures Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Solumina and Smarteam systems Knowledge of composite resins and materials Prior experience with Lean activities and continuous improvement initiatives Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment to complete structural assembly tasks

Pay Details: $21.21 per hour
