The right candidate will:\n\nPerform engineering tasks, calculations (hand and software-based), analyses, and prepare reports.\nDevelop drawings and specifications for projects.\nCoordinate structural activities with other design disciplines.\nLead junior staff in technical structural design.\nSupport Business Development by contributing to proposals and estimating structural task efforts.\nReview construction requests, submittals, and perform site visits at existing and ongoing construction projects.\n\n
Requirements for the Structural Project Engineer:\n\n10+ years of progressively responsible design experience with steel and concrete structures.\nBachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering (Structural concentration) or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.\nRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) at job location or able to obtain reciprocity within 3 months.\nProficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.\nStrong knowledge of structural analysis software, such as RAM Structural System, RISA, or RAM Concept.\nCandidate must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain a security clearance.\n\n
Desirable:\n\nExperience with federal and industrial projects.\nAdvanced degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering.\nFamiliarity with Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build procurement.\nExperience in blast design.\n\n
