Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the design of building structures.
Acceptable prospects will be emerging Structural Engineers whom have achieved licensure or are pursuing.
The role involves executing structural design calculations, developing plans and details, coordinating with clients and project design teams, and overseeing construction administration. You will work closely with the firm's leadership team on 1:1 projects, offering opportunities to gain expertise and broaden your experience.
Depending on your experience, you may independently manage and design projects, acting as the engineer of record.
ResponsibilitiesPerform structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel, or other miscellaneous structuresCreate analysis models and interpret results for 2D and 3D structural framesAssist with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing reviewUnderstand load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculate applicable loads based on appropriate building codesAssist with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables while working with the structures teamPrepare technical studies and reportsEssential SkillsMaster's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering5+ years of experience in structural engineeringP.E. license in your resident stateExperience with RevitExperience in the design of mid-rise structures of steel, post-tensioned concrete, and mass timberExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsMandatory Skills & QualificationsEIT (Engineer in Training) certificationWork Environment
The individual will work closely with a team of Structural Engineers and Project Managers at the designated office location. A willingness to collaborate in a team environment and follow established standards is crucial. A client-focused, 'can-do' attitude is essential. Additionally, there will be flexibility to WFH as needed and/or on a scheduled basis.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $125000.00
