Job details Spherion Staffing is looking for the right person to fill the role of Structural Steel Drafter. The Structural Steel Drafter will produce detailed architectural plans using SDS2 and/or AutoCad software programs. This person will draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data. Pay: $22-25/hour DOE

Responsibilities:
-Make final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another and relation of various parts to whole structure or project
-Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings
-Make any adjustments or changes necessary
-Draw finished designs from sketches and blueprints
-Use computer assisted drafting equipment and software

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
