Job Description
We are looking for 15 structural welders with fitting experience to join our team on first shift (5am-3:30pm Mon-Fri). The ideal candidate must be able to weld proficiently with Mig and Flux, read blueprints, and tape measures, as well as have the knowledge and ability to set amperage/voltage on welding machines and grind welds. The position requires the ability to weld in a 3G (vertical) position.
ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.Essential SkillsProficient in Mig and Flux welding.Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.Knowledge and ability to set amperage/voltage on welding machines.Ability to grind welds.Capability to weld in the 3G (vertical) position.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fabrication.Production knowledge.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
