Job Title: Structural Welder
Job Description

We are looking for 15 structural welders with fitting experience to join our team on first shift (5am-3:30pm Mon-Fri). You must be able to weld proficiently with Mig and Flux, read blueprints, read tape measures, have knowledge and ability to set ampage/voltage on welding machines, and grind welds. You must be able to weld in 3G (vertical) position.

ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces.Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.Essential SkillsProficiency in welding with Mig and Flux.Ability to read blueprints.Ability to read tape measures.Knowledge and ability to set ampage/voltage on welding machines.Ability to weld in 3G (vertical) position.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fabrication.Production experience.Ability to operate angle grinders.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled. The first shift hours are from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
