**Job Title: Structural Welder** **Job Description** We are looking for skilled structural welders with fitting experience to join our team on the first shift (5am-3:30pm Mon-Fri). The ideal candidates must be proficient in MIG and Flux welding, able to read blueprints, use tape measures, set ampage/voltage on welding machines, and grind welds. Additionally, candidates must be able to weld in the 3G (vertical) position. **Responsibilities** + Read blueprints and drawings to take or read measurements for layout and procedures. + Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. + Set up components for welding according to specifications, such as cutting material with powered saws to match measurements. + Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded. + Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces. + Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead). + Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws. + Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG and Flux welding. + Ability to read blueprints and tape measures. + Knowledge and ability to set ampage/voltage on welding machines. + Ability to weld in the 3G (vertical) position. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in fabrication and production. + Ability to operate angle grinders. **Why Work Here?** We offer a range of benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
