We are looking for an Analyst to support the Structured Products Group. The role will have a focus on securitization activities and will be transaction-oriented. This position is based in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
Support senior team leaders with executing Structured Products strategies on behalf of institutional clients, including Agency CMBS Securitizations, Private Label CMBS Securitizations, and other forms of risk transfer in the commercial real estate (“CRE”) mortgage space. Manage due diligence, collateral evaluation, data tape creation and tie-out process for securitizations. Assist with financial modeling as it relates to securitizations and analytics of the platform. Collaborate closely with senior management, internal stakeholders, and external parties. Create and maintain clear documentation on modeling and business procedures that are decipherable to senior leadership. Special projects as directed.Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, or another quantitative discipline is preferred. 1-3 years of experience in structured finance, multifamily real estate, accounting, or related field Knowledge of MS Office with advanced Excel skills required. Familiarity with one or more syntax/languages (e.g., VBA, SQL, Python, and/or R) preferred. Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity and team-oriented mindset. Ability to balance multiple objectives and self-direct activities to accomplish objectives. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
