Citi is currently looking to hire a structurer into its Equities business and requires an individual who can code complex logic that produces documents for structured products, as well as perform data analysis on large sets of trade data.
By joining Citi, you will be a key member of an exciting business, joining an established desk looking to further expand its product offering and client base, through the application of the existing platform to develop and improve the existing product offering.
What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:
You will work with structured products and contribute to the development of the platform by building systems to accelerate growth.
You will be providing support on bespoke client projects as well as the BAU activity to ensure clients globally are serviced to the levels expected by Citi.
You will focus on designing and building a variety of tools for strategies back testing and maintenance
As part of an expanding business, you will work get involved with various growth plans and initiatives and will work as part of a dynamic team in multi asset projects including implementation across client segments.
What we will need from you:
You will need to have strong technical expertise, including coding experience, in PHP and Python, and are expected to be or become familiar with JavaScript.
You should be familiar with structured products documentation including but not limited to: Regulation S Base prospectus/offering circular and pricing supplement/final terms, SEC Registered Programmes and French Brochures.
You should have experience of working closely with other teams across the bank including trading, sales, legal and the various teams which help support the product offering.
Strong knowledge around structured products, including the latest product developments and how these can be used as part of client offering.
An understanding of how to assess the risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Candidates applying for this role must be aware that it is a Certified Role, subject to the FCA and PRA Certification Regime.
The Certification Regime is one element of the Individual Accountability Regime which came into effect on 7 March 2016.
Under the Certification Regime, Citi UK regulated entities (Citi entities) must ensure that employees working in certain roles categorised as specified significant harm functions (Certified Roles) are assessed as fit and proper to carry out their role.

In order to comply with the requirements of the Certification Regime, Citi entities must take reasonable care to ensure that an employee does not perform a Certified Role without first being certified as Fit and Proper. For this reason, you will be assessed for this role against the Fit and Proper requirements, as described above.
This assessment will be carried out through extensive interviews, self-disclosures, permitted criminal record checks, regulated reference checks, credit checks and other background screening checks.
