Join us in Hartford, CT as a Structures Technician, and take your career to new heights with a role that challenges and rewards your expertise.** Job Type: **Full-time, Contract** , **2nd shift** Pay Rate: **$35.00 - $42.00 per hour** What are your contributions to the team? + Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft, including structural and composite component repairs. + Fabricate, modify, and perform minor structural repairs on aircraft parts, and assist with hidden damage inspections and complex repairs. + Remove, install, and assist with aircraft component repairs, mechanical/electrical removals, and installations. + Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety policies, document work per manuals/regulations, and adhere to General Work Requirements. + Operate ground support equipment and assist with maintenance at off-site locations, including towing aircraft as needed. + Participate in 5-S activities, perform work in a safe and timely manner, and assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed. How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience: + Completed training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or equivalent, with at least 4 years of corporate aircraft structural sheet metal repair/modification experience. + Skilled in interpreting mechanical engineering drawings and effectively communicating aircraft status both verbally and in writing. + Own a basic set of hand tools, demonstrate inventory control, and obtain necessary Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications. + Able to work unscheduled overtime, in inclement weather, and obtain required certifications such as SIDA, A&P, or Repairman Certificate, with basic PC skills. **Ready to elevate your career?
