We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented summer student to assist our team in improving efficiency and streamlining processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a strong understanding of data analysis and programming. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our operations while gaining valuable experience in the telecommunications industry.
Key Responsibilities\rAutomation of Bell Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Template Process: Develop and implement scripts to automate the creation of BGP templates, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy.Streamline Wavelength Product Template: Design and implement a streamlined wavelength product template that simplifies the process of ordering wavelength connectivity services. This will involve reducing manual data entry to only address diversity requirements, with a default \"favorite\" selection option.Jira Implementation for Customer Support Engineers (CSE) Requests: Integrate Jira into our workflow to manage and track requests made to the CSEs, improving transparency and accountability.Automation of CSE internal design process and parameters (Design Favorites) Selection: Create a script to automate the selection and updating of our design parameters list, ensuring consistency and efficiency.FAQ Compilation: Develop a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to assist customers and internal teams.Service Prime Compilation: Compile a comprehensive list of primes for all services (dark fiber, etc.), clearly outlining the responsibility for each service type.Quarterly Business Review (QBR) Template Creation: Build a customizable QBR template that can be easily adapted and presented to customers.Critical Qualifications\rCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, scripting languages).Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and organizational skills.Familiarity with telecommunications concepts (an asset).#EmployeeReferralProgram
