We are hiring for a dynamic and experienced Student Affairs Manager to join our Joyce University team on our Draper, UT campus. The Student Affairs Manager provides dedicated support to Joyce University students and student organizations. In this multifaceted role, you play a crucial part in fostering a positive and supportive environment for students, ensuring their academic success and well-being while upholding the university's policies and compliance standards. The Student Affairs Manager must be a strong communicator with problem solving skills and proven ability to interact and collaborate with a diverse population of faculty, staff, students, and parents. As the Student Affairs Manager, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing student engagement, support, and compliance within the university community. This position is ideally located on our Draper, UT campus, however we would consider highly qualified remote candidates as well.

Resource Management: Oversee and update all resources for student organizations, including maintaining communication mediums like the student portal and Outlook, and developing evidence-based training and assessment for educational initiatives.Communication: Support the Director of Student Affairs (DSA) with student communications. Also, maintain student portal pages and functionality.Student Council/Clubs: Provide oversight, support, and guidance for all student councils and clubs. Event Planning and Support: Assist in planning and executing milestone events such as pinning, orientation, commencement, and student appreciation events.Student Success Facilitation: Collaborate with the Director of Student Affairs to facilitate Weekly Student Success Meetings, compiling, organizing, and prioritizing weekly student reports for discussion with campus partners.Advising and Connecting Students: Advise students on a range of issues and connect them to resources as needed. Assist with the development and maintenance of a resource directory for student well-being.Data Collection and Reporting: Prepare reports, statistics, assessments, evaluations, and presentations. Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, student satisfaction surveys, and data collection methods to promote outreach and campus well-being initiatives.Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular spot checks of student communication documentation to verify accuracy, consistency, and adherence to institutional policies. Provide oversight and targeted training to support staff in maintaining compliance standards and improving documentation practices.Liaison and Training: Foster positive relationships within the Student Affairs Department and with Academic Affairs Leaders, faculty, and other offices. Assist in the development and implementation of education and awareness programs, as well as tracking outreach activities.Skills Development: Empower students to learn skills or strategies to deter them from future infractions of university policy. Empower students to learn skills or strategies to improve learning outcomes. Policy Evaluation: Assist in the development and implementation of methods to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of university policies, identifying benchmarks to ensure consistency and fairness.Resource Window and Proctoring Services Oversight: Oversee University proctoring services, including managing policies and procedures, coordinating logistical aspects of exams, administering accommodations, and supervising exam proctors.Student Population Management: Maintain a student population ratio of at least 25% of the advisor population, ensuring balanced caseload distribution and effective student support.Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned. RequirementsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Required education: Bachelors degree
Preferred education: Master’s degree
Required experience: 2-3 years in counseling, student services, and/or student affairs
