Student Assistant, Group Strategy - Viby

We are looking for a new team member joining as a Student Assistant in our Group Strategy team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future direction of one of the largest FMCG companies in the Nordics.

 

How will you make an impact?

 

As a Student Assistant, you will join the Group Strategy team and play a key role in advancing our strategic agenda and supporting the Executive Management Team with a range of high-impact responsibilities, including:

Supporting delivery of critical strategic projects such as due diligences, market strategies, operational/supply chain improvements, and sustainability initiatives Develop strategic insights and drive impact through executive support for our CEO and Executive Mgmt. Team (e.g. annual strategy wheel, strategy workshops and Board of Directors presentations)

This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with top management and senior leaders on strategy and business development, with the potential to significantly impact our business. You will gain diverse experiences, strengthen the problem-solving toolkit and build a broad network across the organization, providing ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.

 

As part of the Group Strategy team, you will join a group of ambitious and high-caliber individuals with background from top-tier management consulting (BCG, Bain & Company and Implement) and leading FMCG companies.

 

What will make you successful?

 

You are pursuing a university-level degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in business, economics, finance, or a related field, consistently ranking among the top of your class. Previous experience in strategy and business development or with other FMCG companies is considered an advantage but not pre-requisite. You embody the following traits and competencies:

Strong problem-solving & analytical skills: Ability to break down complex problems, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and develop insights to support strategic decision-making Well-rounded communication & presentation skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, both verbally, and in writing, including PowerPoint Structured & critical thinking: Ability to approach challenges with logical, structured  thinking and offer innovative solutions that address both immediate and long-term business needs Curiosity & eagerness to learn: Have a strong interest in corporate strategy and a natural curiosity to expand your knowledge and skillset

Additionally, you are a true team player who actively contributes to fostering a positive and growth-oriented environment within the Group Strategy and the broader Strategy & Business Development team.

The role requires approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate varying workloads, particularly around key project deadlines. Likewise, we value your academic commitments and offer flexibility to adjust the workload during exam periods.
