Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Student Assistant to work in the Office of Student Affairs the within the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM)-.
The Student Assistant reports to the Director of Student Affairs, Diversity and Inclusion. This individual will assist and tutor students who are in academic disadvantage within various curricular topics.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Assist and tutor students that are in academic disadvantage. The student assistant will be responsible to cover academic and preclinical topics pertaining to the course in session. The student assistant must like working with students and comfortable working in small groups. Be polite, positive and encouraging with all students. Responsible, responsive, and enthusiastic- Excellent communication skills. To communicate and report to the Director of Student Affairs, Diversity & Inclusion any concern regarding the participating students and their progress. This is a year round, part time position with hours in the late afternoon to evening. Position Status Part Time Hours Per Week up to 20 hours per week Daily Work Shift Rotating Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
