A temporary Student Assistant is needed in the Orthopaedics Research Laboratory to perform biomechanical testing on musculoskeletal tissues and implants, using an Instron biomechanical testing machine. This position is essential in order for the principal investigator to successfully complete the ongoing DoD project on total meniscus replacement.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Perform biomechanical testing on Instron. Analyze biomechanical data using appropriate statistical methods. Prepare and provide full biomechanical testing reports to Dr. Dunn. Performs other related duties as assigned. FLSA Nonexempt Grade 99H Salary Details Minimum Salary 15.49 Mid Range Salary 75.00 Maximum Salary 150.00 Offer Information The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. We also take into consideration market benchmarks, if and when appropriate, and internal equity to ensure fair compensation relative to the university’s broader compensation structure.
