The Library is critical to the University’s learning and research mission and endeavors to create physical and virtual environments that promote discovery of new knowledge and the transfer of existing knowledge. The Library fulfills this mission by providing organized access to a diverse array of quality print, electronic, and other resources and by continuously improving the effectiveness of its instructional and research services.

Nature & Purpose of Position:
Marketing and events-related work in library context. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: creating and sharing social media content and event flyers, interacting with students as well as faculty and staff volunteers, campus partners, and vendors at library events, assisting organizations who table at the library, assisting at weekend and evening events, attending marketing committee meetings, building library displays, pulling books for displays, creating graphics for displays. Other Requirements for the Position Other Requirements for the Position: Students must be enrolled at least 6 hours per long semester to be eligible for employment. Graphic design experience is also welcome for this position. Training provided on the job for any additional knowledge needed. Standard department hours of operation range from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
