**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Greet and answer questions from students, parents and supervisors who visit the office. Direct to appropriate department or person for response or resolution if necessary.
+ Complete student I9 appointments in pleasant and efficient manner, paying attention to employment start dates, the authenticity of documents and making sure students know the next steps required for employment.
+ Forward office emails to appropriate staff members for completion or follow-up. This includes student employment forms sent to our email by staff members and supervisors requesting changes in student records
+ Create a positive office atmosphere by providing exceptional customer service to all who interact with us. This entails making sure an individual’s concerns are met with empathy and a desire to aid them, as well as making sure individuals feel safe to ask questions.
+ Other various office tasks as assigned, such as sorting papers, spreadsheet creation, and note taking during meetings.
+ Administrative tasks to include answering phones, responding to emails, filing, printing, copying, attending meetings, etc. as needed

Student Employment Office is responsible for administrating all aspects of on-campus employment as well as developing, implementing, and enforcing the university's policies and procedures.

To assess, answer and direct questions from students, prospective students, supervisors, parents, RIT staff and faculty and employers about on campus jobs and policies. Provide appropriate answers or determine the appropriate staff member referral or action to be taken. Aid office staff in day-to-day duties, including I9- Completion, answering phone calls and other clerical work.
