Student Experience Support Officer-Operation

Contract type: Full Time (37.5 hours) - Fixed Term (19/09/2025)
Location: Huddersfield, Huddersfield International Study Centre
Salary: up to £ 23,424.63 per annum
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to support student record management and assessment. This is a fast-paced environment, and the successful applicant will have excellent attendance to details as they will be required to ensure the accuracy of students’ records and possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be working in an open plan office, so it is important they enjoy working as part of a team in an international environment.
ABOUT THE ROLEWork closely with the Student Experience Coordinator – Student Data & Enhancement in monitoring student attendance on a daily basis. Keep student attendance database up to date weekly in keeping with Centre and UKVI requirementsEnsuring relevant reports are run from Study Group systems to ensure registers are fully complete to enable attendance to be monitored effectivelyWork closely with the Student Experience Coordinator – Student Data & Enhancement to establish students who are not engaging with the Centre Attendance Policy.Ensure the progression database is kept up to date and provided to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.Seeking out new opportunities for progression related activities within the centreTo assist and be involved in the planning and delivery of student induction and progression weeks at the various intakes.To have oversight of BeSocial events to ensure high levels of student engagement.To prepare assessment timetableTo ensure assessments material is prepared with high accuracyManagement and coordination of student assessments to include liaising with academics, data inputting and ensuring quality control checks are in place to align with the Centres requirementTo assist all Module and Course Assessment MeetingsTo request and distribute transcriptTo deal with general student enquiriesTo foster productive relations with internal and external stakeholdersProduction of student letters as requestedWork closely with other teams to ensure student enrolment is running smoothlyAny other duties required by the Head of Student Experience Ensure student details are kept up to date on central databases – contact details, visa and passport information, sponsorship details etc
ABOUT YOUMinimum standard of education demonstrated by GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent/higher qualifications.Working in a fast-paced pressurised office environmentExperience of working in HE/FE environment (Desirable)
