For jobs in San Francisco, this includes the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. **Job Responsibilities** The Health and Wellness Intern will assist in developing, coordinating, and supporting health and wellness programs for employees/students. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in workplace wellness, nutrition, fitness, and health promotion initiatives. + Assist in planning and implementing wellness activities, such as health fairs, fitness challenges, workshops, and educational campaigns. + Support communication efforts by creating flyers, newsletters, and digital content to promote wellness initiatives. + Collect and analyze data from wellness surveys, attendance logs, and program feedback. + Help coordinate with vendors, trainers, and guest speakers for wellness events. + Maintain wellness resources (bulletin boards, intranet pages, informational materials). + Provide administrative support such as scheduling, recordkeeping, and preparing reports. + Research best practices in health promotion and recommend program enhancements. + Serve as a positive role model by encouraging healthy behaviors and inclusivity. **Qualifications** + Currently enrolled in a Bachelor?s or Master?s program in Public Health, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field. + Strong interest in health promotion, wellness, and employee engagement. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + This position is only for current Howard University students. + Creative and motivated to promote healthy lifestyles. **Education** **About Aramark** **Our Mission** Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
