The Summer Student Internship program is open to recent high school graduates, current college students or recent college graduates interested in exploring a career in healthcare. Must be at least 18 years old on or before May 31, 2025. This 10-week program will start June 16 and end August 22. Each Intern will develop an understanding of Cottage Health values and professional skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and accountability. Interns may be asked to participate in a variety of meetings with interdisciplinary teams (thus expanding their healthcare exposure) and will be evaluated on performance through a dedicated project identified by the host department.

Departments currently accepting applications include: Surgical Services, Therapy Services, Children's Center, Employee Health & Safety, Total Rewards (Human Resources), Volunteer Services, Ambulatory Services, Nursing Administration, Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine , Medical Intensive Care Unit, IT: Data & Analytics, Pacific Diagnostic Laboratories, Research, General Council.

Within one week of application, you will receive a follow-up questionnaire with more details about each department and the opportunity to rank order your area of interest.
