Student Internship – Photo & Video Bookmark this Posting Print Preview | Apply for this Job Posting Details Position Information Job Title Student Internship – Photo & Video General Description This is an internship position within University Marketing Communications at Stephen F. Austin State University. The internship may count towards course credit, or be accepted as a stand-alone internship. Work is expected to be performed within the department and at activities across campus. Job Duties 1. Assists in producing scripted video production for University Marketing Communications. 2. Assists in live event video and photo coverage. 3. Assists in producing photographs on campus for University Marketing Communications. 4. Assists with post-production editing, audio mixing and color correcting. 5. Assists with editing and cataloguing photographs. 6. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Knowledge of photo and video production equipment, techniques and software. 2. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. 3. Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with university faculty and staff, students and the general public. 4. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Required Qualifications The minimum education required for admittance as a student at Stephen F. Austin State University. Enrollment in MCOM 4380 is required. No direct experience is required. Training and instruction will be provided. Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands 1. Ability to lift and carry camera or tech equipment up to 25 lbs. 2. Ability to walk to various locations on campus.
