Your Role
As a Summer Human Resources Intern in Gensler’s New York office, you will join our creative studio environment for a paid internship opportunity. This is a full-time program running from June 3 through August 8, 2025. You must be available for the entire duration of the program. This is not a remote position.
What You Will Do
Assist the HR team with onboarding new hires
Assist with I-9 completion via E-Verify
Ensure collection, scanning, and filing of appropriate documents for personnel files
Schedule meetings, appointments/interviews in Outlook
Assist with the preparation of HR related reports as needed
Update organization charts for all NY studios
Assist with the coordination of logistics for the Summer Internship Program
Other HR related projects as needed
Your Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and will have completed your 3rd year by June 2025
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff within the firm, clients, and vendors
Excellent organization and process improvement skills
Demonstrated leadership ability in school and/or community
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Resourceful, self-motivated, enthusiastic team player
Outstanding analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
