Student Internship in Treasury IT Solutions (starting in April 2025)

The Position

Roche's treasury IT solutions are managed under the Treasury Product as part of the Group Processes Domain. Our team provides solutions and services to our corporate treasury business function. Roche’s treasury is well recognized externally and internally for their strategic approach e.g. to cash or risk management.

As an intern within our team, you have interest in Finance Technology and in Project Management and an educational background in business and/or informatics. During this internship position you will get to know the Treasury systems within Finance IT solutions in a global environment.


We are looking for an ambitious personality, who will have the following main responsibilities:

Learn about treasury processes, systems and interact with the Roche global treasury team

Interacting with different departments globally to optimize operations and d find solutions

Daily system monitoring of Treasury systems & helpdesk in collaboration with other team members and Business Partners

Troubleshooting Treasury SAP system and performing basic operations to handle issues

Take part in innovative initiatives with diverse scope such as blockchain and fintechs

Prepare training material and documentation for the team and the business users

Who you are


You are a student in your final phase of your Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in finance, computer science, software engineering or similar field or you've completed your studies within the past 12 months. IT Skills on machine learning, artificial intelligence or blockchain are a plus.


For this position you bring the following qualifications:

Basic general business process understanding / knowledge in Finance

Familiar with the SAP world is an advantage

Exposure to project management methodologies or frameworks is a plus

Good communication skills with both technical teams and business representatives

Experience with programming languages in corporate environments or in student projects

Familiar with SAFe, Scrum, Devops and Agile environments are a plus

Fluent in English language is required, additional languages are a plus

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team for a 12-month internship, offering valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity for professional growth. The preferred start date of the internship is in April 2025, or upon availability. Please clearly indicate your preferred starting date in your motivation letter.
