The Student Loan Consultant is motivated by and enjoys assisting student loan borrowers to put their student loans behind them and achieve their long-term financial goals. The Student Loan Consultant will have a strong understanding of Consumer Banking/Finance.

Student Loan Consultant Qualifications

Conduct phone calls and in-person meetings with student loan clients to analyze their student loan debt and present options to save money by refinancing their loans or entering loans into federal loan repayment and forgiveness plans

Provide reports to student loan borrower clients detailing savings and cost comparisons
Review customized student loan borrower data in the GradFin student loan
software system

Manage a list of clients in the GradFin customer relationship management (CRM) system;
Background in personal or consumer finance a plus

Strong desire to work with student loan borrowers to help them achieve their financial goals.

Bachelor’s degree highly preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $25.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes short-term incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
