Hours vary and may include day and night shifts, weekends and holidays during the Externship. You will be expected to work the shifts that your preceptors(s) are scheduled. Assists mentor with developing, implementing and evaluating plan of care. **Responsibilities** + Utilizes nursing process to plan, direct and provide safe nursing care working under the supervision of assigned mentor. + Develops a collaborative plan of care based on patient assessment. + Interprets data and implements appropriate interventions along side a nurse preceptor. + Follows specific standards of care and policies relative to area assigned.
