Responsibilities The Student Nurse Tech (SNT) provides direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse as defined by the Kansas Nurse Practice Act. The SNT reports to the Director or designee. Provides patient care according to the Standards of Care defined within the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the policies and procedures of SFHC. Supports and promotes the organizational priorities. Effectively manages department/patient activities in a time efficient manner to ensure the delivery of care is well-organized and proficient. Provides quality customer service to patients, families, coworkers, and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to create a professional and respectful environment. Qualifications Job Requirements: Must have completed first semester of nursing school Currently enrolled in an accredited BSN RN program or be enrolled in an accredited ADN program and completed your second semester. BLS certification No prior healthcare experience required experience needed Basic computer skills
