Responsibilities

Student will perform under the supervision of a Nebraska licensed Medical Radiographer registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

PRN Opportunity

Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures.  Radiographic procedures must not include CT, the use of contrast media, and the use of fluoroscopic or mammographic equipmentPerforms and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific patient care in a holistic mannerProvides patient education and responds to patient and customer concernsCompletes documentation of patient x-ray record and Quality Control processesPerforms value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfactionPerforms other related duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications

Education

Current enrollment at the senior level in a school of  Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)

Licensure & Certification 

State of Nebraska Temporary Medical Radiographer licenseBLS Certification through the American Heart Association

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Understands methods and is capable of performing venipuncture as required for positionDemonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashionMust be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignmentsMust be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skillsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skillsInterpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team membersOverview
