The Department of Psychiatry RWJMS (Busch Campus) is seeking qualified candidates for undergraduate research assistant positions. This position would be ideal for rising Sophomores and Juniors seeking to pursue a career in medicine or biomedical research. The ideal candidate would be interested in continuing to broaden their research experience. Opportunities are for part-time research experience during the academic year and/or full-time positions in the summer. We are seeking detail oriented and highly motivated individual who can, with training, independently follow and conduct clinical and/or laboratory based research protocols.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Assists with human research subject recruitment and/or pre-protocol preparatory procedures. Assists with data collection and/or data development for research studies. Accurately record all data and experiments in a lab notebook and/or in data sheets. Assists with maintaining study records and databases. Monitors and communicates with study team to ensure research protocol compliance. Assists with preparation of materials for institutional review board submissions.
