With more than 1000 employees and 700 physicians, we provide a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services for all ages including emergency, intensive care, stroke, cardiology, maternity, orthopedics and surgery. Responsibilities Prepares, runs and logs routine ECG and rhythm strips. Prepares and administers oxygen therapy utilizing nasal cannulas, masks, venturi marks, non-rebreathers, simple oxygen masks and oxygen hoods, heated high flow nasal cannula’s. Performs and teaches Incentive Spirometry. Interprets and reports vital signs and pulse oximetry as indicated. Performs postural drainage and percussion. Ventilator/Bipaps—after School check offs are completed Osculates and identifies various breath sounds. After school check offs are completed---Performs allens test and arterial blood gases Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired regarding personal, financial, medical or employment of patients, families, and employees of Hillcrest South. Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and Hillcrest South. Must report hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs. Qualifications Job Requirements: Currently enrolled or completed Respiratory Associated degree program BLS required. Must possess a current Oklahoma RCP license Preferred Job Requirements: ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred Desirable characteristics include two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.
