No Duties and Responsibilities Loyola University Chicago School of Law is a student-focused law school inspired by the Jesuit tradition of academic excellence, intellectual openness, and service to others. The Office Coordinator for Law School Student Services is a member of the School of Law Student Services team and serves a pivotal role in carrying out the university’s mission of cura personalis, care for the whole person. This position relies on exceptional executive functioning and communication skills to provide broad-based support to the unit.The Student Services Department, under the leadership of the Assistant Dean for Student Services, is responsible for the core functional areas of academic advising, character & fitness disclosures, accommodations, oversight of student organizations, and academic integrity for JD students enrolled in the full-time and Weekend JD programs. The Office Coordinator provides support to the team across all areas of responsibility, with a primary focus on exam accommodations for law students.Specific responsibilities include:· Coordinating with the University’s centralized accommodations office, SAC, and Law School faculty, as directed by the Assistant Dean.· Scheduling exams, both mid-terms and finals, for students who have accommodations.· Communicating with students about their accommodations, when needed.· Coordinating with faculty when classroom accommodations are required.· Maintaining accurate records of current students who have accommodations, room assignments for their exams, and any special instructions related to their accommodations.· Utilizing the university’s accommodations platform, Accommodate.· Supporting student organizations, including assisting with purchases for student events and reconciling receipts.· Assisting team with planning large community events, including orientation, graduation, community meals and roundtables.· Backing up on Law School announcements.· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Some college required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Three to five years of related experience in an office setting; some supervisory experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 1 – 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred: Experience working in student services and/or supporting accommodations. Certificates/Credentials/Licenses N/A Computer Skills Proficient Computer skills.

Experience in the practice of law.
