Faculty Rank or Job Title Student Services Program Manager Job Category: Administrative (exempt/non-exempt) Department Student Affairs & Admissions-BSOM EEO number: 24P324 Position FTE 100% Minimum Annual or Hourly Rate $49,500 Salary Band: UC S04 Job Summary/Basic Function: The Student Services Program Manager will coordinate, manage, implement and evaluate the Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM) Office of Student Affairs and Admissions (OSAA) programs and events held on or off campus. This position will have broad responsibility to work in concert with all members of the Office of Student Affairs & Admissions and in collaboration with Advancement, Marketing, and student groups to coordinate and provide outstanding student programming. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree in higher education, marketing, or closely related field. At least (3) years or more of experience working in an educational environment or event planning/marketing. Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to independently plan, organize, operationalize strategic activities and program enhancement strategies to improve services provided to our students. Superior strategic coordination skills and a holistic understanding of the operations and services provided by an office of student affairs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Must be a focused, detail-orientated person. Preferred Qualifications Prior administrative experience with professional student development. Existing familiarity with the operations and processes of a university-level of student affairs. Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey software. Essential Functions and percent of time: 45% Management, planning, and implementation of all OSAA events on and off campus including, but not limited to, graduation, convocation, orientation week, Match Day, Awards ceremonies, etc. Collaborate with appropriate University and BSOM departments to ensure successful events. Responsible for managing event budgets as well as logistics for multiple simultaneous events to include scouting locations, selection of food, engaging staff and cleanup protocols.

20% Responsible for the Office of Student Affairs & Admissions front desk management and daily operations. Supervise and train student workers to provide excellent customer service at our front desk which serves all students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and community members.

20% Oversee and manage BSOM student groups and organizations

10% Provide support to Admissions for Interview Days and recruiting events.

5% Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Functions and percent of time (cont'd): Non-Essential Functions and percent of time: Working Conditions Has the ability to work effectively with all diverse populations and all types of constituents including students, physicians, faculty administrators, alumni, and volunteers. Able to work occasional evenings and weekends to support medical student professional development and special OSAA events.
