We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Success Coordinator with a strong background in student behavior and a passion for positive student outcomes. The ideal candidate will embody a collaborative, student-centered approach and demonstrate the ability to build meaningful relationships, support diverse needs, and lead innovative behavioral interventions that foster growth for all students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Respond to and address attendance, behavior, and academic needs of students
+ 504 Coordinator
+ Participate in team meetings (Building Support Team/Grade Level/Building Leadership)
+ Help with other organizational activities (supervision of non-instructional activities)
+ Attend IEP meetings as the Local Educational Agency representative
+ Facilitate meetings with staff and parents
+ Assist in extra/co-curricular activity supervision when needed
+ Must be willing to lead, support and implement Mid-Prairie Middle School’s multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) for behavior and attendance.
+ Manage emergencies brought to their attention, deciding on the best course of action and either dealing with the situation if appropriate or referring it to the principal.
+ Collaborate with the building teams at all levels.
+ Maintain accurate records as required by federal, state, and local officials.
+ Adhere to applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations, and Board Policies.
+ All other duties as assigned by the principal

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Degree in education, counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
+ Experience working in educational or behavioral support roles.
+ Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and data-informed decision-making.
+ Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
+ Experience working with diverse student populations.
