Job Summary: The Student Surgical Technologist performs assigned perioperative duties under the direct supervision of another Surgical Technologist and Registered Nurse. The student will have direct supervision in all aspects of their job performance. Duties may include, but are not limited to, maintaining the sterile field, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, and the adherence of aseptic technique.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Current enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology Program. Must graduate from an approved school of Operating Room Technology or Surgical Technology within 12 months. Must maintain current AHA BLS certification.
