DescriptionThe Student Surgical Technologist SST fellowship is a paid position for surgical technology students to engage in additional observational and clinical learning experiences to prepare them for clinical practice at the completion of their academic program The fellowship is an weeklong program running March th through May nd The program includes guided observational learning experiences within perioperative services to gain a greater understanding of the global perioperative environment as well as clinical learning experiences under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse andor Certified Surgical Technologist The SST fellows will also receive guidance and mentorship from members of the Perioperative Professional Development Team For the duration of the weeklong program
