Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Work alongside the BLT State Office to assist with creating relevant multimedia content (graphic design, layout, photography/video, text/audio, and more) across various platforms including social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube), podcast, and website (WordPress).
+ Assist with planning and scheduling multimedia content across platforms to create a consistent multimedia presence for the BLT program.
+ Assist with creating and reviewing program publications, papers, reports, and PowerPoints.
+ Assist with monitoring media trends and tracking impacts of current efforts.
+ Respond and manage, in a timely manner, day-to-day multimedia requests and needs.
+ Other duties as assigned.
General Qualifications:
+ Interest and/or background in mass communications, marketing, and/or digital media preferred.
+ Interest and/or background with human nutrition, public health, health education, exercise science and/or kinesiology preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
+ Maintain knowledge and requirements of accessibility within the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Texas A&M AgriLife Marketing and Communications, and BLT program.
+ Highly motivated, dependable, adaptable, and service-oriented.
+ Ability to communicate professionally both written and orally to ensure understanding and establish effective working relationships.
+ Capacity to effectively work collaboratively and independently to accomplish assigned goals in a timely manner.
+ Computer competency including Microsoft Office applications and demonstrating proficiency in current technologies, software, and social media platforms.
+ Bilingual preferred.
