**Student Training Employment Program \(STEP\) – High School Internship 2025**
**Description**
We are looking for inquisitive, adaptable, self\-driven, **rising high school seniors** who are interested in interning at Bell during the upcoming academic year\. As a high school **intern in Bell's Student Training Employment Program \(STEP\)** , you will gain valuable on\-the\-job experience by completing individual assignments and contributing to team projects\.
**Teams with High School Internships for Academic Year 2025 \- 2026**

* **Engineering** \- Exposure to design elements, instrumentation, fatigue and damage tolerance, rapid prototyping, and test activities\.
* **Manufacturing Engineering** \- Exposure to manufacturing and logistics support including inventory, parts drawings, development of operating schedules, and enterprise resource planning software \(i\.e\., SAP\)\.
* **Quality** \- Exposure to quality engineering, corrective actions, technical training, calibration, and inspection techniques\.
* **Supply Chain** \- Exposure to the process of buying materials and parts used to manufacture our aircraft, as well as the analysis of supplier quality and performance\.
* **Product Support** \- Exposure to business aspects of customer and product support including business cases, go/no go decisions, and cost modeling\.
* **Information Technology** \- Exposure to the design, analysis, and test enhancements of existing custom applications, customer/system requirements, and the development of applications released to production\.
* **Finance** \- Exposure to financial analysis, pricing, accounting, and cost analysis\.
* **Data Analytics** \- Exposure to different techniques to clean, prepare, analyze data, and create dashboards and reports to inform decisions\.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications**
* High school senior for 2025 \- 2026 academic year\.
* Able to intern in\-person, during business hours \(typically between 7 AM \- 6 PM depending on the assigned team\), at the assigned work location \(no virtual internships\), for approximately 10 hours per week from August through May\. Potential work locations are listed below\.
* Completed rank ordering of internship assignment team preferences \(listed above\)\. https://forms\.office\.com/r/90jugUxxQy
* Completed contact information for two high school teachers, your high school counselor, and assistant principal who will be asked to complete a recommendation for you by March 3, 2025\. https://wkf\.ms/4i29Ht0
* Completed recommendation form from one of your high school teachers by March 5, 2025\.
* Completed confirmation of availability and recommendation by a school counselor, assistant principal, or principal by March 5, 2025\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Completion of one or more classes relevant to the available internship opportunities\.
* Action Oriented\. Energetic, curious, and motivated to learn\. High initiative\. For example, consistently seeks out and completes tasks, assignments, and projects of increasing complexity\. Readily asks clarifying questions\.
* Strong oral communication, written communication, and presentation skills\.
* Proficient with software used to create presentations \(e\.g\., MS PowerPoint, Google Slides, or comparable\), analyze data \(e\.g\., Excel, Google Sheets, or comparable\), and produce written documentation \(e\.g\., Word, Google Docs, or comparable\)\.
* Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills with strong attention to detail\.
* Ability to produce finished work assignments or project individually, as well as contribute to team projects\.
* Ability to manage time and prioritize assignments\.
* Strong interpersonal skills\.
* Sound judgment\.
