Objective To provide support to the faculty and staff in the Department of Biology and Chemistry. Essential Duties 1. Maintain laboratory preparations.
2. Organize and clean laboratory work areas.
3. Prepare media, reagents and solutions necessary for laboratory exercises.
4. Assist faculty with assigned tasks.
5. Occasional clerical duties. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities You must have been awarded Federal Work Study and satisfy the enrollment requirements for this position. Preferred Experience and Training At least one science course taken at the college level. Preferably, applicant must be enrolled in or have taken a college level chemistry course.

Laboratory experience acquired through course work or work force. Required Degree, License or Certifications You must have been awarded Federal Work Study and satisfy the enrollment requirements for this position. Physical Requirements Applicant must be able to walk, stand, climb stairways and step ladders, bend, reach above the shoulder and perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms. This position also requires heavy lifting and pushing (45 to 70 lbs.).
