Students live in a residence hall for five weeks during the summer program. This position is designed to provide students in secondary, post-secondary, and graduate study with employment that assists them in reaching identifiable educational goals. **Salary Range:** $19.56-23.26/hour, $40,841-48,567 annually **Minimum Qualifications** + At least two years of post-secondary education. + Currently enrolled in secondary, post-secondary, or graduate study programs. + Knowledge of Upward Bound, residential hall, and/or camp counselor programming. + Ability to guide and direct work activities to achieve work area goals. + Ability to communicate effectively to develop and implement policies and procedures. + Successful completion of a background check. **Preferred Qualification** + Desire to work with and relate to a disadvantaged population. + Knowledge of residential hall living. + Strong support of goals of the Upward Bound program. + Experience or current studies in tutoring, counseling, education, or a related field. **Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)** 8 hours/day, 8:00-4:30 - first two weeks Sunday-Friday, remaining three weeks Monday-Friday **Telework (Yes/No)** No **About** Central Lakes College is a comprehensive community and technical college serving about 5,500 students per year.
