Student Worker Program - Associate Experimental Aerodynamics Engineer

Join our Electric Vehicle Digital Design (EVDD) team for a 6-month Student Worker Program and help build the future of mobility! Immerse yourself in Ford's center of innovation and growth, working alongside top engineering, design, and software talent to create groundbreaking EVs and contribute to key technologies like batteries, charging, and recycling. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact on the automotive industry

What Are We Looking For? 

A candidate in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s, or PhD degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldA GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) Analytical and creative problem-solving skillsMust be able to dedicate 6 MONTHS for this engagementCandidates must graduate and be available for full-time work prior to September 2025Ability to think creatively and champion innovative designs

This is a 6-month program

What Will This Opportunity Do For You? 

Work alongside aerodynamicists from Formula 1 as well as some of the best EV engineers and automotive designers.You’ll gain real aerodynamics experience using cutting edge wind tunnels and CFD solutions.

What Can You Expect To Do? 

Build experimental testing and analysis tools.Investigate, design and implement instrumentation to be tested in CFD, wind tunnel, and on track.Work across experimental and computational tools including correlation.Contribute to Ford’s next generation of electric vehicles.
